Goodbye Food Fur and Fun, Hello The Bark Blogger

Goodbye Food Fur and Fun, Hello The Bark Blogger

Well y’all, I think the third time is the charm. When I started this whole blogging thing, I really just jumped all in and had NO idea what I was going to blog about. I found a cute name and just went with it. A few months later, I reached out to a blogger who hosts brunches and asked her if I could go to one. She told me I needed to narrow down my “niche”. Oh, and that I needed thousands of followers to even be considered. So, I decided to “narrow” it down. Somehow, my mind and excitement let me think that Food Fur and Fun was narrowing it down. Realistically, they are EACH they’re own niche. I’ve been working really hard on building my grid and making sure everything I post is something I’m really happy with. But I have been struggling recently with the name and if it’s something I truly think has potential to grow in the future. That’s why I decided to do a FINAL rebrand and focus on one passion I know I’ve always have and always will. DOGS. For the longest time, I’ve wanted to do something that involves them. My fur babies are my life. Could I have started an Etsy shop? Could I try and make collars and bandanas? Nope. I wouldn’t even know where to begin. I’ve found during my journey as Food Fur and Fun, that I always had more ideas or people I wanted to interview in the dog industry. I interviewed Real Housewife of Dallas Star Kameron Westcott about her pink dog food. That was such an incredible opportunity and I’m so thankful for it. So, to end this in a good way, I will soon be The Bark Blogger! Exclusively a dog blog. I’ll post interviews with dog companies, veterinarian tips, DIY goodies, treat recipes and more. My feed will be full of my sweet pup! Get ready y’all! Thank you so much for following me in this journey. If you want to stay, thank you! If not, thank you for staying as long as you did. Here’s to 2018!
